Murder Charges

Greg DelBigio represents clients charged with the full range of violent crimes including:

Charter rights are almost always involved when someone is charged with a violent crime like murder or assault. Greg DelBigio’s extensive knowledge of the Charter and his experience arguing criminal cases involving Charter of Rights issues benefits his clients.

Greg was a Continuing Legal Education Course Instructor on how the Charter impacts Criminal law in both 2002 and 2005. He is also the Editor of the Charter of Rights Newsletter published by Canada Law Book which tracks significant court decisions and judicial trends in Charter law.

Air India Inquiry report and recommendations released. Greg DelBigio acted as pro bono co-counsel for the Canadian Bar Association in it’s intervention at the Inquiry.

Vancouver criminal lawyer, Gregory DelBigio represented the intervener Canadian Bar Association in R. v. Cunningham, 2010 SCC 10, a Supreme Court of Canada decision holding that criminal courts can order lawyers to work for free to prevent serious harm to the administration of justice.
